Ken Laverick poses beside his entries at the show.
I'd heard Ken's name mentioned in conversation with Plant Society members, so it was very nice to meet up with the great man at the show.
To say he's enthusiastic about Dahlias would be an understatment! Ken very kindly explained and showed me the different classifications on display - Cactus, semi-cactus, Decorative etc, then he explained involute and revolute etc.
It was a very informative evening!
