Method B is the advanced method for adding plants. Method B:

  • is used in all programs EXCEPT GA027 (see Method A)
    e.g. GA004, GA037, GA022 etc
  • uses the Master Database as a source of Predictive Text and Plant Names
  • allows a plant to be added from the Master Database
  • allows pass through to manual adding in the case where the plant to be added does not exist in the Master Database (as in this lesson)
  • is best suited to plants with complex names

In this demo:

  • we do a search in the Master Database.
  • we find that our plant does not exist in the Master Database.
  • we explain how to proceed to the screen which allows plants to be manually added
  • we explain the features in that screen
  • we use the Repeat ADD mode feature
